About Me I'm a 29yo hearth, home and kitchen witch. I live in Seattle - the greatest North American city in my mind, and absolutely love the Pacific Northwest despite my New England upbringing. I am involved in the Grey School of Wizardry (www.greyschool.com), which is a nondenominational, online school of witchcraft and wizardry founded by Oberon and MorningGlory Zell-Ravenhart and the Grey Council. We have a local Seattle chapter that gets together for Sabbats, bardic circles, monthly meetings, movie nights, hiking and general fun. Currently we're in planning for the 2nd annual GSW Northwest Conclave where we go camping for the better part of a week for the purposes of connecting with other students and teachers within GSW, holding Bardic Circles around the campfire, holding and attending classes, and hiking.

Music I am a classically trained vocalist (who doesn't use it at all), and I play piano. However, my favorite forms of music are heavy metal, folk, pagan songs, and classic rock.

Movies I've not been much for movies typically, but I've been "binging" on them lately. I am thoroughly addicted to Rent, love anything animated, can't wait for the next Pirates movie and love comparing the Harry Potter movies to the books (mostly so I can fill the people who haven't read the books in on all the stuff they leave out and unexplained in the movies).

TV I haven't watched TV since November, but I am a huge fan of Stargate SG-1, That 70's Show, South Park, The Daily Show and the Colbert Report.

Books I'll read just about anything I can get my hands on. Recently I've read The Redemption of Althalus by David Eddings, and Without You by Anthony Rapp. I am currently working on East of Eden by Steinbeck (four about the dozenth time) and Pagan Visions for a Sustainable Future, a book of essays that I will be basing a class on at Conclave.

Likes Cats and animals in general (but especially cats - Siamese ones), good homecooked meals, going out in the woods and being surrounded by Mom, cross-stitching, playing piano, singing, sunshine, fire, beaches, exploring, traveling and body pillows.

Dislikes The peephole in my door that's about 6 inches above my head and therefore completely useless without a stepstool, the towing company across the street from my apartment, the fact that most of my friends live in another state (my fault for moving away I suppose), the current state of my life (which is only temporary anyway), and Gold Toe socks (seriously, they stretch out and twist up and slide off the feet... sucky!)

Hobbies Reading, hiking, listening to/creating music, puzzles, cooking, photography, plants, day dreaming and torturing the cats.

Vices Good food, shoes, and basically any distraction from something I don't feel like doing.

Virtues I'm bluntly honest, I'm awesome for a rant, I bend over backwards for my friends, I spout ideas like Old Faithful, I'm creative and even though I fail at times, I try hard to be a good pagan.

Heroes I have people I respect, but none I can say are heroes.
